To-Cook List

I spend a lot of my blog time thinking, “oh that looks delicious! I should remember it and come back to make it.” Do I? Usually not. My solution, rather than bookmarking or e-mailing them to myself, is now going to be this running list. I’ll update it often, and let you know how I like the ones I get around to making.

Creamy Scallion Pesto

Spiced Roasted Black Beans

Garlicky Roasted Chickpeas with Feta and Mint

Mushroom Falafel

Cream of Mushroom Soup

Fennel Leek Soup

Sugar Snap Peas with Carmelized Onions, Thyme, and Mint

Cheese Rice Balls This one will need edits…but serious scrumptious potential!

Homemade Buckwheat Noodles

Turnip and Squash Gratin

Papas Rellenas Al Horno

101 Cookbooks has a Spring Asparagus Bulgur Salad (I’ll use rice)

Italian Rice Salad

Possibly the Best Green Pea Soup Ever

Quinoa Salad with Currants, Dill, and Zucchini

Curried Sweet Potato Quinoa Patties

Sweet Potato Rice Pudding

Scallops on Passion Fruit Hollandase and Wilted Ginger Spinach

Lentil and Fennel Salad with Parsley

Pumpkin Enchiladas : Made my own twice, in a sleep-deprived fog where I didn’t remember that I had a link to a recipe.  On the other hand, needed a vegetarian version anyway.  Delicious. You should make some.  I should make some more!

Grits Stuffed Collards : Stuffed collards, check.  Grits & cheese, not so much.  Conclusion = collards make a great food wrapper.

Overnight Buckwheat Pancakes

Almond Flour Pancakes

Whole Grain Flexible Drop Biscuits : Wonderful recipe! I’ve made several variations and served them to a number of people. I suggest not using much masa harina, but otherwise, just keep an eye on the ratio of mild to strong tasting flours.

Apricot Oatmeal To Go (Probably subb’ing in something else for the oats, as I can’t really eat much of even the gluten-free ones.)

Cheese Crisp

Artichoke Bread

Roasted Vegetable Spread & Flax Meal Crackers

Bread (GF, whole grain-ish)

Lemon Polenta Cakes

Anise Biscotti

Almond Butter Cookies

Dark Chocolate Brownies

Chocolate Chip Macadamia Muffins

Granola Bars

Blonde Brownies

Sunbutter and Banana Muffins

Raw Cocoa Date Bars with Fresh Raspberries

Flourless Nutella Cake

No Bake Chocolate Slice

This isn’t cooking… but
Homemade Dish Soap

*Some titles of recipes compressed/clarified so that I remember what they are.
